VISMUN (Vista International School Model United Nations) is an academic simulation of the United Nations. High school students from top schools in Hyderabad participate as delegates, representing different countries and debating global issues. It's an educational event designed to foster critical thinking, public speaking, diplomacy and global awareness among students. Beyond academic enrichment, VISMUN serves as an invaluable opportunity for students to enhance their leadership abilities, teamwork, and adaptability. It not only prepares them for future roles in international relations, law, public policy and governance but also nurtures a sense of responsibility and awareness toward global challenges
Greetings Delegates,
It is an honor to hold the title of Secretary General for the first ever edition of VISMUN. This is the last year of my schooling and it means so much to me that I get to end this year by fulfilling my MUN dream. Vista has become a huge part of my life and now I get to do something for this very school, I couldn't be more grateful. Relentless efforts have been made by the secretariat for a successful conference and frankly I don't have a clue where I would be without my team, the backbone of this conference.
Hosting an MUN at Vista has always been something I looked forward to ever since I started munning in 2023, never did I dream it would be so soon. All of us are eagerly waiting for your arrival, we hope you have a blast not just at the socials but throughout all 3 days of committee sessions with your executive board. I look forward to dressing up, watching all of you grow throughout the conference and most of all, having fun.
I would like to thank our principal, Ms Shanti Priya for supporting us all the way through. Special Thanks to Ms Rani Dhullipala, our MUN Coordinator for her expert guidance. We express our utmost gratitude to our directors Mr Suresh Challa and Mrs Sridevi Challa for providing us with this opportunity, and just as importantly once again our dedicated secretariat for always going that extra mile to bring this conference to life.
