Greetings Delegates,
It is with immense honour that I welcome you to VISMUN 2026, the second edition of our Model United Nations conference. From grade 2 to 12, this school has witnessed every chapter of my journey, and it has, in every sense of the word, become my second home. I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to give back to my school, my peers and the community I have had the privilege of growing within.
Hosting an MUN at Vista has been something I have aspired to do ever since I began my MUN journey in 2022. This truly has been a dream come true.VISMUN 2026 is designed to be unique, sustainable, and dynamic. With a carefully curated blend of traditional and unconventional committees, we have strived to strike the perfect balance between intellectual debate and creative engagement. I, along with my secretariat team, am truly excited to witness each one of you grow over the course of these three days.
This would not have been possible without the dedication of the entire Secretariat, who have consistently gone the extra mile and are truly the backbone of this conference. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the school management for their unwavering support throughout this process. A special acknowledgement is owed to our MUN Coordinator, Mrs Rani Somayaji, who has been both a guardian and a mentor to us all.
I would further like to extend our deepest gratitude to our respected Principal, Mrs Mary Shanti Priya, and to our Directors, Mr Suresh Challa and Mrs Sridevi Challa, for entrusting us with this incredible opportunity and for their continued belief in our vision.We cannot wait to welcome you. We look forward to your arrival, and we hope you are ready for an experience that will stay with you long after the gavels strike.
